Monique's birthday

Monique and I are fortunate to have birthdays just a week apart, so it's always a celebratory time when we get to spend our birthdays together. On her birthday weekend, we kicked it off old-school with a pool party (although back in the day I definitely wasn't toting a 7-month-old around).













We all went home and got cleaned up for a big night on the town. We started it off with dinner at the new Benjy's on Washington, where we all shared a bunch of appetizers and desserts. It was delicious! Then it was off to the Black Swan. Oh yes, we danced to 90's rap, got our feet stepped on, saw some rather uninhibited dancing, and sweated just a little bit more than ladies like to admit. I had a great time!





I spent my very first night away from William that night. But he was home safe with Mikey, so I really didn't worry. And of course W slept like a champ for his dad. While it was a wonderful break to have such a carefree night with the girls, I was so happy to get back home and love on my little guy.
