I suppose I should explain the name for my blog. "The Time of My Life" refers to one of my favorite movies in the whole world, "Dirty Dancing." It's definitely my favorite soundtrack of all time, and "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" puts me right back into Baby's life during that magical summer with Johnny Castle. He had some fabulous moves, and yes, I saw "Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights" (more than once), and Patrick Swayze can still dance like that.
Plus, I figure I will be chronicling random days and events in my life, and I'd like to think that every approaching day offers the potential for me to have the time of my life. No one ever said I wasn't a total cheeseball!
