Here we go...

I've been an avid blog reader for quite some time now, but I've never tried to put together my own blog for the world to read. So far it's been ridiculously easy! Now for the hard part-- I have to come up with insightful things to say. Or wait, instead of that, I'm going to try to post a picture. I thought about putting a photo up from one of the many fun events I've taken part in this summer, but I figure if I'm going to put pictures of my friends on the web for all to see, I should probably ask first. So that will come later! For now, I'm going to upload a picture of my cat, Emmy. Just so she doesn't feel left out, I do have another beautiful cat named Patsy, but she's a little tougher to photograph. I'm gonna hit "publish" and hope this works!
