In conclusion

Our last full day of the trip was a Saturday. We said goodbye to the last of the (other) guests and headed off for the boys' third trip to the Southeastern Connecticut Children's Museum. Amazingly, there was plenty of stuff they had not played with before. This was our first time to go outside, and it was fantastic. 

This is William's favorite thing at the Children's Museum of Houston as well.

Every good museum needs one of these.

This was a good one for all the boys. Who doesn't love an organ? 

This was one of my favorites. It is so simple - a box fan in a cage, and various lightweight things to put over it - feathers, balloons, beach balls, etc.

Michael knows by now that this is a mandatory photo at the end of every trip. He doesn't even fight me on it now!  

William was captivated. 

Since I had Ryan on the way up (Abbey had William), I had the easy job on the way home.  

Mikey and Ryan sat behind us. Ryan didn't sleep much, but at least he got a little shut-eye. Ryan wasn't bad - kids at that age are just exhausting! They require a lot of attention, and you have to be one step ahead of what they will want next before they are ready to move on to that.

Home again, home again, jiggity jig! We had a blast in Connecticut (can't you tell from the picture overload?!), but it's always nice to get back home after a trip.
