Tour de Santas

Three years, three different Santas!

This year, Donna and I took the kids to Memorial City Mall. I don't think I could be happier with this picture. William is a tough customer when it comes to picture-taking, and he makes me work for the smiles. I acted like a total fool, but by golly we got the shot. Ryan was a bit cranky during the entire wait in line, but thanks to the crazy lady who took (no joke) a minimum of ten full minutes to pick the perfect Santa picture, I had no choice but to soothe Ryan so long that he fell asleep. I think our other option was a crying baby, so I'm happy to have a snoozing one.

I think this Santa looks the best out of all three, although I could do without the bling-tastic belt buckle. Yes, we all know you are Santa. You don't need your name around your waist. He also has the personality of a tree stump. I don't think he said a word to any of us. I do like the simple background though.

This is the Northwest Mall Santa. He gets major points for having a great personality, and since no one in Houston actually goes to Northwest Mall, there was no line. That's a big plus. I couldn't stand the background. It's way too busy. I kind of like his outfit even though it looks like it has seen better days. It would make sense for Santa to look a little haggard since he works so hard during the Christmas season.

Here's the Galleria Santa. I deduct points because he isn't wearing the jacket. I also don't like the background much. But he is nice, and he looks very authentic.
