William is starting early on the card-playing. He and Mikey made up a super exciting game. All the cards are turned face down, and then you ask "What'd William get?" with an expectant look on your face. He declares "five of diamonds" or whatever, and then you all act excited and laugh. On to "What'd Daddy get?" and more hilarity ensues. It's quite adorable, and I think it's helping William recognize all the numbers. He's probably the only kid in his class that can recognize clubs and spades.
Mikey is demonstrating the "What'd William get?" face.
William is really into helping us these days. Of course the term "helping" is open to interpretation when it comes to a two-year-old. Look how helpful he is at bathing Buster!

Daddy is simply the most fun person in the whole world.
My boys both still fit on my lap. They grow so fast - we'll see how long this lasts.
Patsy recognizes that Ryan isn't a threat to her yet. She will make herself scarce once he becomes adept at grabbing fur and pulling tails.
Look at William pretending like he's not about to lay down on the playmat. Playing with baby toys is apparently super fun.

That's more like it.
Ryan's three-month picture. He has become so smiley lately. I just love it!
Some days, I just need to do a photo shoot with the little man. Of course I don't attempt them when big brother is around. This is really a school-day activity. I used to do this all the time when William was a baby. It gives me a little project.
I had a hard time deciding on my favorite, so you get to look at two.
Or maybe three. OK I'll stop now. The rest will just be shown to immediate family members who are too polite to say they have had enough.
Ryan has always had a strong neck and torso, so we don't practice tummy time as much as we probably should. Look at him go!
He was so proud of the diamond hat he made at school. I would imagine all the card-playing gave him a leg up on this one!
