Last day of school!

Mikey was out of town for a week at the end of May, and the boys and I spent some of that time living in the lap of luxury at Grammy and Grandpa's house. During that time, William had his last day of school. We miss his wonderful teachers, Ms. Diana and Ms. Susan, but we look forward to seeing who will be teaching both boys next year! Ms. Susan was William's teacher for two years in a row...I kept joking with her that I look forward to getting the call that she will have him for his third year at Foundry. Alas, she is teaching the bridge class, so no dice

A new picture spot for the last day of school!
Here he is on the first day of school! I love looking back to see how he has grown in such a short amount of time.
William is just barely tolerating having his picture taken at this point! Ryan on the other hand is hamming it up.
Ryan looks so little!
Love them! William is genuinely smiling, which is rare when I take his picture these days. His teachers made a book with a bunch of artwork from the whole year. It had my not-usually-sappy self get all misty-eyed.
William and Carter have had tons of fun after school this year. Carter is a hugger!
Melt my heart, why don't you? Carter's mom, Taylor, took William home for me on the second-to-last day of school. Notice how William is looking at his hand, trying to figure out why Carter is holding it. :) That's Kyle on the right. Carter and Kyle will still be going to school Tuesdays and Thursdays next year, and we are switching to MWF. It makes me really sad because I sure enjoyed hanging out with Taylor and Stephanie before and after school. Hopefully they will join us in MWF the following year! As a side note, Carter and Kyle are a year younger than William. They are both big boys, especially Carter!
