Birthday fun

We celebrated Grammy's birthday a few weeks ago with a trip to Chili's and an afternoon of just hanging out together at their house. William has his own bed upstairs, and he is very comfortable sleeping there. It's nice to know that it'll be no problem to spend the day there and have him get his regular nap.

We played a game called Wits & Wagers. It looked kind of complicated at first but turned out to be really fun. All of the trivia questions are answered with a number (could be a year, a percentage, anything). You write your guess on a miniature white board. Then you place them all on the mat from highest to lowest. Everyone can bet on what they think is the right answer (it doesn't have to be yours and very often won't be). The odds change depending on if the answer you pick is on either end or is at the median.

His first collared shirt! Thanks, Monique! It looks so stinkin' cute on him.

Board games are such good, clean family fun. Well, except that this one involved betting. Whoops.

Hanging out with the big guy

William adores this car. He gets in and out, in and out, in and out. And he informs us of his every move. I don't think he has ever actually made it go anywhere. It's probably for the best since he plays with it inside.

Three out of four looking at the camera is a success in my book these days.

Silly boy

Ryan was not enjoying picture time, but I was determined to get a pic of him with Grammy and Grandpa. Let's all ignore the fact that Ryan is crying!

Great picture of the 4 of you! Love the one of Ryan in his big-boy shirt and William driving the car! The game sounds cool, too. BTW,thanks so much for coming yesterday. I really appreciate it and enjoyed chatting with ya and showing the scrapbook that I have put blood and sweat in! LOL!
