We have a number of buck heads on the wall at the Pink House, and William LOVES them. He pointed to them all the time and said "hi." And let's not even get into the bobcat and turkey that are stuffed (and not in the fluffy, teddy bear way) and reside at the Pink House. He may or may not have petted them throughout our visit. Hey, whatever works.
William was going through a clingy phase while we were in Palacios. He was out of the phase by Christmas, but I felt bad because he is normally a pretty easygoing guy when it comes to who he's hanging out with. That week, he tended to flip out if I wasn't in his sight. Oh well. Everyone we were with was family, so I'm sure they still love William even though he wasn't exactly handing out hugs and kisses.
Kelli did a marvelous happy dance when she hooked her fish.
Don't you love how Mac is doing the work, and Kellis is Facebooking the catch? Technology is remarkable.
Uncle Mike was a huge fan of my posed pictures on the dock. He actually asked me to take as many as I could, but I thought it was best to let them do their fishing thing.
William loved scaling the pile of pillows CC threw down for him.
Mimi hanging out with her favorite great-grandchild.
Mac and W, bonding over a nail file.
Gobble gobble!
One day, little guy, you will get to spend all day out there fishing with the big kids.
W never stops pointing.
Now that's what I call dinner.
So peaceful
I realize this weather isn't necessarily the best for fishing, but man was it beautiful!
I hope that is the last time he ever bites the bait bucket. Shudder.
It's a keeper!
He is fascinated by that squirmy thing Mac is holding.
Just a few hours too late. We saved your spot, Kelli!
I need to scan that original picture of Michael hanging upside down. The hands over the eyes is a nice touch, William.
What a treat to have so many of us together, even for a few hours. We sure missed all of you who couldn't make it.
I love this picture, courtesy of the oh-so-talented Katie.
