Bring on the bon-bons!

Today is the first day of my maternity leave. My doctor recommended that I take a little time off before the birth, and I'm so glad I took her advice. I am going to spend the week running some last minute errands, finishing up all of the laundry I can get my hands on, getting my hair cut, voting, reading books about the first few months of a baby's life, etc. Today's big outing is my final doctor's appointment before Friday's c-section. Let's hope the baby is content to stay put until then. Mikey can't make this appointment because it's his first day working in a new division of his company, so about 10% of me expects my doctor to send me straight to the hospital from my appointment. Let's hope that's not the case!
