Their spectacular wedding was held at the Corinthian on November 10. That's one anniversary besides ours that I will never forget because it was also Mikey's 28th birthday. It was a black tie affair of epic proportions. The bride wore a dress that can only be described as exquisite. I am pleased to say that I was at Saks when she found that magical dress. I photographed her in several of her options, and she had an unmistakable glow in that particular dress.
Besides Kimberly's attire, there was some unbelievably good food. Appetizer after appetizer kept passing by, and our group of friends was practically mauling the servers. They did stations of different types of food, and I wasn't able to hit up all the stations. But everything I had was delicious.
The band kept us on the dance floor. We even managed to get my brother out there for a few songs. I assured him that being able to fast dance and be semi-comfortable would serve him well throughout high school. Brian had a date to every single formal because the girls knew he would dance.
I did hand off my camera throughout the night to various friends who are not intimidated by all those knobs and buttons. It was really fun to see what ended up on the camera at the end of the night.
I shouldn't let this post end without saying that Ash, Monique, Jennifer and I sang at the rehearsal dinner. Yes, sang. We must love Kimberly a lot! Once again, we put off the toast until the last possible minute, but we pulled it off and had a blast doing it.
