Mikey and I rewatched the slide show from our rehearsal dinner yesterday, and being the sap I am, I teared up while watching picture after picture of us surrounded by our family and friends. It served as a reminder that life is all about the people who would be there for you when the rest of the world turned its back on you. We are so lucky to have an abundance of people in our lives who truly care that we are healthy, happy, and headed in the right direction.
This weekend was all about the wedding of our friends Petro and Christina (some photos are here for your viewing pleasure). The bride and groom were very happy...to be husband and wife, but also to be done planning and executing a spectacular wedding! Drinking, dancing, and some silliness ensued. Thankfully we have many friends in common with the newlyweds, so we got to hang out with some of our favorite people in the world all weekend. Now it's just a matter of recovering from all the festivities! I took a nice nap today, and hopefully my work week will cooperate and not be too crazy.
